Sniff Dawg

For nearly 30 years, I've been a pet sitter, and for 10 of those years I owned and operated a pet supply store. For the last 7 years I’ve been a zoo docent. To say I’m all about animals is an understatement. But dogs…dogs are my passion. 

With my shop, I saw incredible products...and I saw a lot of stuff that existed simply because someone thought dog people would buy it. I’ve seen plenty of that stuff in people’s homes over the years, too.

That's not what I carried in my shop, it’s not what I recommend, and it’s not what I want to offer here.

I’m not a dog trainer, I’ve never wanted to be one. I’m more of a real-world decoder.

Nearly 30 years of walking into people’s homes and caring for their dogs gives you an interesting view of what actually works — with dogs, with people and with all the stuff we’re told we need for them.

That’s what Sniff Dawg is built on:

No gimmicks. Just good stuff for dog people.

We don't believe in offering more products just to have more products. We'd rather offer a handful of things you'll actually use than shelves full of novelty items that end up forgotten in a drawer.

Some things are for your dog. Some things are for you, because loving your dog is part of who you are.

Everything we offer is inspired by the kind of dogs that quietly make life better.
